If there are talkers and thinkers, then Gayle is a thinker. In fact she’s even developed a kind of ‘thinking pose’ when she’s working at her computer – not quite in the style of Auguste Rodin but we tell her it looks very intellectual all the same.
With a keen interest in research and problem solving, all that thinking gets put to good use in developing an understanding of target markets, buyer behaviour, customer satisfaction and a myriad of other issues that influence a company’s marketing strategy.
But it's not all thinking, in fact Gayle is a great one for ‘getting things done’ and driving clients by keeping them focused. She’s also very proficient at developing the creative materials to support a marketing strategy – things like product brochures, websites, posters, advertisements and direct marketing letters.
Being the part-owner of a small company herself, Gayle is very much in tune with the challenges faced by business owners and has many years of practical experience working with small and medium enterprises. Management and marketing positions over the last 20 years have also taken her around the world as far afield as South Africa, where she was General Manager of a Chamber of Commerce.
"I thoroughly enjoy meeting with new clients, helping them understand how they can best tackle their marketing and then working alongside them to develop plans and programmes. So many business owners have lots of great ideas and as many good intentions but find it difficult to put them into practise. It really is rewarding when you can help a client develop those ideas, put some structure around their marketing and see them achieving results."
Down to earth and to the point, Gayle likes to keep fit and definitely has the healthiest looking lunches in our office. She also enjoys supporting her family in all their sporting activities and appreciates hot weather, good conversation, taking her dog for a run, and real coffee.
