Witty, charming, suave and yes - we can’t deny it - good looking (!) and modest too, are all words Ross would use to describe himself! The only bloke in the team, Ross is our advertising oracle!
Having spent the past six years marketing a range of premium brands throughout the New Zealand, Australian and European rural markets, Ross has key experience in many facets of high-level marketing and business management.
Extensive experience in Television, Radio, Print Media, Web and Direct Mail has provided Ross with a detailed understanding of B2B and B2C marketing.
More recently, Ross has worked with Scotwork International – the global leader in negotiation and skills training.
When discussing his work in the advertising sector, Ross is unfashionably modest and it takes a lot of persuading to uncover some of his achievements, however once we scratched the surface, we quickly discovered that his knowledge is not only vast – ranging from strategic and creative through to extensive production knowledge – but more importantly is also extremely relevant and we believe will deliver real value to you, our clients.
A natural creative, Ross has immense energy and drive to achieve both personal and organisational goals, his extensive business experience, leadership and strength of knowledge as a marketing professional makes him a valued member of the Synthesis team.
Ross also works with the Wellington Chamber of Commerce as a Business Mentor. Mentors are experienced business people often with senior management experience in a corporate environment or have successfully operated their own business. They have empathy for small business operators and entrepreneurs and share a genuine desire to grow New Zealand business.
In his spare time, Ross enjoys – hmm, pause, strike that – is madly in love with anything car based! Industrial design, technical race car design and build, farming, hunting and even jewellery are all among Ross’s hobbies!
